Quality All Along the Line
Contact Air passengers can rely on fast, direct connections between central European regions - also on routes away from the major traffic streams. As a member of the Lufthansa Regional quality brand and a partner of Swiss International Airlines, Contact Air maintains the highest standards of training, technical competence, safety and reliability. Contact Air passengers also have access to the worldwide Star Alliance network.
The airline is not only exemplary in terms of passenger service, it is also in demand worldwide for aircraft maintenance work. The staff of Contact Air's hangar operations in Saarbrücken includes qualified technicians for Fokker and ATR. Their work is not only restricted to maintaining the airline's own planes. Numerous international airlines also entrust Contact Air with regular checks, major inspections, overhauls and module replacements for aircraft of their own fleets. The mechanics also perform daily maintenance and smaller checks as part of their line operations at selected airports.
As a type rating training organization (TRTO), Contact Air also offers its own and external pilots an outstanding foundation for basic and advanced aviation training with an eye toward a career in the cockpit.
The company is headquartered in Stuttgart. Contact Air has around 370 employees in total, including 85 pilots, 95 cabin attendants, 100 technicians and hangar staff and 30 in administration and flight operations.
